What do we do?
Weāre a non-profit group run by volunteers, and our mission is simple: to bring people together in a fun, supportive environment. Here’s how we do it:

- Socials & Events: We host regular socials, club nights, and community events across the Midlands.

Meet the Team
MidsBears is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who work hard to bring the best to our community. Our current team includes:
With over 10 years in childhood education, I made a bold leap into hospitalityāstarting at hotel reception before moving into event sales and then taking my talents overseas as a holiday rep for three unforgettable years. Now settled in administration, I hope to bring a wealth of people-focused experience to everything I do. Outside of work, I command a unit in the RAF Air Cadets and champion inclusion and diversity across the West Midlands. When Iām not mentoring the next generation or pushing for positive change, you might catch him (reluctantly) lacing up my boots for a game of rugbyāage, after all, is just a numberā¦ right?
After more than 20 years in the IT sector, I transitioned to running a successful small business that provided holidays for adults with learning difficulties. Following the sale of the business, I returned to the Midlands. I enjoy gardening, photography, cinema and most types of motorsport. Iām committed to bringing my experience in promoting inclusion to the committee.
I work in Data Analysis - love a good spreadsheet - and I enjoy investigation, analysis and finding and fixing a root cause. I love video games, animated and Marvel (MCU!) films and socialising - we're basically furniture at Eden and since we moved to Dudley from Kent in 2019, I've loved making so many friends and welcoming others into the community.
Iāve spent 15 years in IT, with a focus on cloud platforms, and Iām passionate about making things work seamlessly behind the scenes. Iām always excited to bring new ideas to the table and help drive positive change. When Iām not immersed in tech, youāll find me enjoying music, savoring great food, or exploring exotic destinations. Iām excited to be part of this committee and look forward to working with everyone to make an impact!
